When I started my business

Often I am asked "What materials are needed to start a painting business"? I like to share the fact then when I started my house painting business, I started with very little. I had just a few brushes, drop clothes, and step ladder. It was only later that I obtained an airless paint sprayer, scaffolding, and extension ladders.

However, my success was drive by the fact I had to do it. I sold my first job for $600 dollars which took a mere 10 hours, and my second job was $2200 dollars, and my third came with a two week break. That job was for $4250, and took two weeks. Now keep in mind that these are 1993 prices!

I had spent some time researching and developing my pricing of painting projects. Developing a house painting business is truly about how to estimate the painting, how to convience the customer your the right person, and most of all what projects you should even be seeking!

My ebay store: http://store.ebay.com/tritella-trading is where you can find my full selection of audio books to start a thriving successful house painting business.
